 Introduction of Photo-Oxygen Catalytic Equipment

Compared with other waste gas treatment equipment, photocatalytic equipment can not only purify organic waste gas, but also disinfect and sterilize. This is due to the strong oxidation of high-energy ozone and ultraviolet radiation, which can destroy the DNA molecular structure of bacterial viruses.

In terms of purifying organic waste gas, the components of waste gas that can be treated by photocatalytic equipment are ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, methyl thiohydride, methyl mercaptan, methyl thioether, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, dimethyl disulfide, carbon disulfide, styrene, sulfide, VOC, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.


The mechanism of photo-oxygen catalytic waste gas treatment equipment is that the molecular structure of waste gas is cracked by high-energy and high-ozone ultraviolet (UV-ultraviolet) light beam, so that the molecular chain of organic macromolecule compounds is broken and transformed into low-molecular inorganic compounds such as CO 2 and H 2.

Ultraviolet (UV) light can split oxygen molecules in the air to produce free oxygen (reactive oxygen species). Ozone is produced by the unbalanced positron and negative electrons carried by free oxygen. The reaction equation is as follows:

Ozone has a strong oxidizing effect on organic matter, especially on industrial organic waste gas. After the exhaust gas is introduced into the reaction chamber through the exhaust equipment, UV ultraviolet light beam and ozone decompose and oxidize the exhaust gas, making it degrade into low molecular compound, and then discharged outdoors through the exhaust duct.


The primary electrons are accelerated in the electric field and impact the oxygen molecules in the air. When the energy exceeds the ionization potential of the oxygen molecules, the oxygen molecules are rapidly ionized. The oxygen molecule losing electrons becomes positive polar oxygen ion (O2+), and the released electrons combine with another neutral oxygen molecule into negative polar oxygen ion (O2-). As a result, the oxygen ion is divided into two stages and adsorbed neutral oxygen molecule to form aggregated ions such as O 2+, O 2-, O 2, which can oxidize harmful components in polluted air into harmless products and water in a very short time.


In addition, UV ultraviolet light can also destroy the DNA sequence of bacteria in order to achieve the purpose of sterilization. From the point of view of waste gas treatment, the molecular structure of waste gas molecules such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, benzene, toluene, xylene, formaldehyde, ethyl acetate, ethane, acetone, urea and resin can be destroyed by pulsed corona adsorption technology and - C band ultraviolet ray combined with corona device, and the organic matter can be transformed into inorganic matter.
